The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA®), the world’s leading organization representing accounting and finance professionals working inside organizations, held its 3rd Annual Global Conference, 5-7 May 2008 at the JW Marriott Dubai, UAE. 

The event was attended by nearly 150 accounting and finance professionals from close to 20 countries around the world and featured nearly 20 educational sessions. The Conference included three full days of engaging talks from leading practitioners from around the world. Session topics included Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Knowledge Management, Convergence of Global Reporting Standards (IFRS/GAAP/Islamic Banking), Strategic Cost Management, Planning and Budgeting, Financial Leadership, and more.
